When the first batches of Porsche vehicles debuted on Southern California’s roads and racetracks, our first members saw their potential. From there, it was just a matter of giving these little sports cars exposure and opportunity. Soon, Porsche and Southern California became utterly inseparable.
On April 30th, 1960, a small group of Porsche enthusiasts got together and chartered the Los Angeles chapter of the Porsche Club of America. Today, we’re officially known as the Porsche Club of America, Los Angeles Region, but what hasn’t changed is the quality of person this club attracts. Fun, quirky, diverse, entertaining—just like the cars.
These days, PCA-LA is one of the largest regions of the Porsche Club of America, stretching from the South Bay to the Valley, from the West Side to the East Side. We’re united by a shared passion, but we’re kept together by camaraderie with fellow club members, and of course understanding, maintaining, and driving one of the most unique automobiles of all time. Come be our guest at one of our events, then consider becoming a member.
To help celebrate the sixty year benchmark of our club, we developed a campaign to use for social, print, and product uses that takes an iconic color from each decade since 1960.
